Charged EVs | Dover Fueling Solutions adds NACS cable option to its fast EV chargers

Dover Fueling Solutions, a provider of energy dispensing equipment to gas stations and convenience stores, has added an NACS (SAE J3400) cable option to its Wayne PWR DC fast charger.

The new NACS cable configuration allows DFS customers with Wayne PWR to select the setup that best meets their site needs, including CCS1, NACS or a combination of both connector types across multiple units.

DFS’s has recently expanded its Wayne PWR portfolio, which now includes five power configurations ranging from 160 kW to 640 kW. These scalable options are designed to enable customers to deploy EV charging across a broad mix of locations, from new builds to retrofits.

For retailers, offering both NACS and CCS connectors can draw more EV drivers to the forecourt and create opportunities to increase in-store sales.

“We’re seeing strong demand for NACS compatibility, and this update gives customers more options without added complexity,” said Chad Bass, Director of Product Management for EV Charging at DFS. “By supporting both major charging standards, Wayne PWR is helping site operators attract more EV drivers and make smarter infrastructure investments for long-term success.”
