Charged EVs | Pioneer Power announces multiple orders for its portable EV charging solution

Pioneer Power Solutions, a provider of distributed energy resources, power generation equipment and mobile EV charging solutions, has announced several new contract wins across a range of sectors. The company expects to fulfill the new orders during the remainder of 2025 and into the first quarter of 2026.

Pioneer has sold an e-Boost Mobile Mini to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. This portable charging solution enables the agency to recharge electric utility vehicles in remote areas, supporting its role in protecting the state’s watersheds and combating wildfires. The e-Boost Mobile Mini packs 30 kW of EV charging power on a small trailer that can be towed without a commercial driver’s license.

Separately, Pioneer has secured a follow-up rental order for multiple e-Boost Mobile Minis, for a continuing pilot program supporting “one of the world’s largest e-commerce fleets.” This Fortune 100 retailer is using Pioneer’s technology to “bridge the divide between escalating power demands and limited grid capacity at its depots.” The company already has multiple e-Boost units in its pilot program, and will now deploy multiple sets of e-Boost units across key metro markets to ensure reliable charging for its expanding fleet of electric trucks and vans during the upcoming peak holiday season.

“These recent wins reflect the growing market demand for flexible, reliable, off-grid power solutions,” said Nathan Mazurek, CEO of Pioneer. “The new agreements demonstrate strong near-term demand and also open the door to significant long-term growth opportunities as these customers continue to scale and decarbonize their operations.”
